Merry-Go-Round

I was inspired by the DunHuang grotto art in ancient China by using mineral stone pigment as my main painting material. The shininess and rough texture represent the coral reefs under the sea and also the beauty of sea creatures. They are colourfully and calmly shining in their life.

I have chosen my beloved ocean as my main theme. Coral reefs are one of the main sources for my creativity.  Once vibrant and magnificent, corals are the epitome of our living environment yet, in the past decades, they are being destroyed by our selfishness and facing extinction. Showing the beauty of the underwater world is now my mission.
